- - - We are committed to ensuring our environmental impact is kept to a minimum and we are working hard to make sustainability a consideration in everything we do. We have also launched two major initiatives to promote sustainability and biodiversity.
Library hub
- - - The biological research community has access to our specialist journals through library subscriptions worldwide. Our new Read & Publish Open Access agreements offer researchers enhanced opportunities to read and publish articles.

Shelly Turner joins The Company of Biologists

Shelly Turner, Head of Sales and Business Development at The Company of Biologists

We are delighted to welcome Shelly Turner to the new role of Head of Sales and Business Development at The Company of Biologists.

Shelly has worked in academic publishing for over 30 years, most recently as Head of Sales at Manchester University Press, and she has considerable experience of the scholarly communication landscape internationally. She will lead an expanded sales, customer services and library marketing team to build on the success of the Company’s Read & Publish Open Access (OA) initiative.

Shelly Turner says:

“I am very pleased to be joining The Company of Biologists at such an exciting time. Over 500 institutions in 39 countries are already participating in the Company’s Read & Publish Open Access initiative, and I look forward to working with libraries and library consortia in all parts of the world to enable a broader range of biologists to benefit from uncapped and fee-free OA publishing in our leading journals.”
