Partnering with libraries and library consortia

Maximising the dissemination of high-quality research is central to our mission and through our partnerships with libraries and library consortia, researchers worldwide have access to our subscription journals.

We are also delighted with the response from libraries and library consortia to our Read & Publish initiative which offers a cost-neutral transition to Open Access. Since the launch in November 2019, we have signed agreements with four library consortia, and over 150 institutions in 15 countries are now participating.

Unlimited access to all our subscription journals and their archives is available to researchers at participating institutions, and corresponding authors benefit from uncapped, immediate and fee-free Open Access publication of research articles.

Our Read & Publish agreements also support institutions and researchers working to meet funding requirements.
