Our recent access to a fee-free Open Access publication of our manuscript under the Read & Publish agreement between The Company of Biologists and our institution is a great publishing option for us. In recent years it has become increasingly challenging to meet escalating publication costs from our operating budget. This Read & Publish agreement now provides us with an excellent, high-quality portal for our publications without affecting our operating budget.
