- - - The biological research community has access to our specialist journals through library subscriptions worldwide. Our new Read & Publish Open Access agreements offer researchers enhanced opportunities to read and publish articles.

I was pleased to publish my article in the Journal of Experimental Biology Open Access through the Read & Publish agreement between the University of Oxford and The Company of Biologists.
Such agreements provide valuable support for researchers by enabling Open Access publishing, particularly during periods of funding uncertainty. I also appreciate that these initiatives help sustain not-for-profit publishers like The Company of Biologists, which has a long-standing commitment to advancing scientific research and supporting the research community, and have supported me from the first year of my PhD, 22 years ago.
