Publishing our research in Open Access through the CSIC Read & Publish agreement was a very smooth and rewarding process. Journal of Cell Science is such a crucial journal in our field, so discovering that article processing charges were fully covered under the agreement was a fantastic surprise. In our case, it allows us to direct our limited budget straight into doing more experiments and making every funding euro count.
