KBART (Knowledge Bases and Related Tools) is a NISO Recommended Practice.

By communicating electronic resource title information and coverage data from content providers to knowledge base suppliers, KBART helps ensure the integrity and functionality of knowledge bases.

KBART files are available for The Company of Biologists’ hybrid journals (Development, Journal of Cell Science and Journal of Experimental Biology) and Open Access journals (Disease Models & Mechanisms and Biology Open).
