I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to publish Open Access in Development under the Read & Publish agreement with The Rockefeller University. This is my first publication as a graduate student, and I could not be happier with the entire process. I am excited that my work will be freely available to a wide audience, and I fully support the initiatives by The Company of Biologists to foster the public dissemination of science.
