By car

To Histon

Leave the A14 at the Histon turn off (junction 32) and follow signs for B1049, continue straight over the traffic lights. You will pass the Holiday Inn hotel on your right, continue going straight and through the pedestrian crossing lights. Turn left at the traffic lights into Chequers Road and turn left again at the junction into Station Road.

Bidder Building

Bidder Building is on your right, opposite the Railway Vue pub. Visitor parking is provided in the first car park, on the right hand side of the building.

By bike

If cycling from the centre of town, cycle along St Andrew’s Street (north direction) and then continue on the same route as St Andrew’s Street becomes Sydney Street and Bridge Street. Cross the river and at the subsequent traffic lights continue straight ahead to Castle Street. At the traffic lights on top of the hill turn right and up into Histon Road. Continue on this road past the big roundabout (you can avoid cycling on the roundabout by taking the pavement and pedestrian lights around it). Turn into the first road on your left after the roundabout, and then first right. Continue along Cambridge Road. The Company of Biologists building is on your left just after you cross the Guided Busway.

By public transport

Take the train to Cambridge Station. From there, it is a 2-minute walk to the bus station. Depending on the time you come in, you can either take the guided bus (A, B or C), or take bus number 8. If you take the guided bus, the busway stop is Histon and Impington. If you take bus number 8 you can get off near Chivers Way or near Poplar Road. All three bus stops are a few minutes’ walk from our offices. You will find us right opposite the Railway Vue pub.
