JCS Minifocus on Polarity
Cell polarisation is a fundamental process that underlies epithelial morphogenesis, cell motility, cell division and organogenesis; consequently loss of polarity can lead to developmental disorders and cancer progression. Journal of Cell Science is pleased to present a collection of three articles, one Cell Science at a Glance and two Commentaries, that discuss different aspects of how cellular polarity is established and maintained.
